Remember the wooden hang tag save the dates? This time, we designed a little suitcase more appropriate for a destination wedding! Check out these unique wood engraved suitcase save the dates for a destination wedding in Hawaii! They are about the size of a business card and the bride plans to thread them with some rustic twine.

Silhouette Save the Dates

I recently designed these save the dates for a good friend. The couple liked the silhouette idea (the profile ones) but wanted to change it up to be more modern and less conventional than what was out there. So rather than a profile, I did them forward facing with their own specific trademarks. Christine always wears her hair in a side braid and Jack has these cool thick rimmed glasses. These elements make the couple identifiable while still simplifying the overall drawing. Christine is also a school teacher so we added the “Pencil Us In” idea as a nod to Teacher Christine. Hope you guys like it!

Wooden Hang Tag Save the Dates

I recently designed a wooden save the date hang tag and have been waiting to share it with you. The bride wanted to initially do so some sort of hang hang tag like those office manila ones and potentially letterpress it. I told her that I knew a wood guy and that we could take it up another level and do wood engraving. We ordered a sample and she loved it! It came out to be about the size of a business card. She tied some jute/burlap string and shipped them out notifying everyone to “hang onto the date”. Hope you all enjoy! Looking forward to seeing how the invitation turns out. Fonts used were Nelly Script, StrangeLove and Sweetheart script for the numbers.
